Pair Eyewear is seeking a Quality Assessor to observe, test, sample, or audit products to provide feedback to the team on opportunities to improve. This role will report to our Director of Quality. You will ensure Pair products meet quality standards. This involves assessing products against established criteria to identify and quantify issues. Your partners will be peer quality assessors.

What You’ll Do:
Perform thorough product inspections to ensure that they meet established quality criteria
Identify and report to the production team any nonconformities
Maintain accurate inspection records
Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions and resolve issues.
Monitor the performance of the production process and look for ways to make it better.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality
Who you are:
Demonstratesstrong attention to detail
Strong communication skills - verbal, visual, and written
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following detailed direction
Ability to work in different environmental conditions, including exposure to manufacturing environments that may have varying temperatures, light levels, noise, and minimal exposure to manufacturing by-products.
Possess excellent visual acuity to inspect products effectively for defects or non-conformities - this includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Need to Have:
Previous inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills including the use of data aggregation software
Precision and coordination in small-part manipulation are essential in this role - position requires frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, either sitting or standing, while performing inspections or audits.
The role involves moving around the production floor -, the ability to walk, turn, bend, and reach is necessary.
Ability to move or lift light objects up to 20 lbs.

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $22/hr - $24/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
