We are looking for an individual who is mechanically inclined. We will invest and teach the right candidate a trade. We have created our own internal training program for the person that may not fit the college path and loves to work with their hands. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will be certified to the applicable aerospace standard. The key functions provide a roadmap for the right candidate to see what they will be able to do upon completion of the training program. There is opportunity for Growth.
Reporting Relationship:
Serves in the Production Department for Assembled Products and reports to the Production Supervisor and Director of Production Operations
Key Functions:
Ability to Interpret assembly drawings, wire lists, and schematics
Performs Assembly and required wiring of various electronic equipment and electronic and mechanical component
assemblies.
Proficient with hand tools, soldering irons, wire strippers and crimpers
Practical knowledge of basic electrical circuits, equipment and practices
Ability to assemble printed wiring boards, perform thru-hole and surface mount terminations into circuit boards
Follows departmental and company procedures to achieve the highest quality product.
Follows both written and verbal instructions
Completes required paperwork accurately
Maintains a neat and orderly work area. Places completed work in proper place, protecting hardware from damage
during assembly and completion.
Clear understanding of all safety practices and proper use of safety equipment provided.
Is expected to seek assistance or clarification when needed from Supervisor, and report to supervisor when job has
been completed.
Key Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent
Mechanical ability
Clear understanding of the English Language Read, Write and Speak
