This is a very part-time position at an established (37 years) fine art gallery in Laguna Beach, most suitable for someone who is self-employed or who already has a part time job with flexible hours.
This is an opportunity to be involved in the Laguna Beach art community and learn the art business. Some retail experience and a friendly personality are required. The position is for one afternoon a week, expanding to two or more days a week when other employees are traveling; typically once a month, so flexibility is critical.
We are looking for someone who can be team player and is eager to learn. Starting pay is $16 an hour plus commission on sales based on experience in field. Must be physically able to pick up and hang large paintings!
