We're looking for a graphic artist who is enthusiastic about their work as well as skilled in their profession, who has experience with pre-press and large format digital printers.
Everything Hot Shoppe Designs makes is made in-house in San Clemente - from concept to garment, we can design a shirt at 10:00 a.m., and have the finished product in your hands at 3 p.m. - No tech packs, no offshore vendors, just collaboration and teamwork to make the newest and freshest apparel possible.
We have over 40 years of providing custom apparel to the action sports community, from designing and producing the 2020 Olympic BMX and Olympic Surf Teams' uniforms to the 2024 SuperCross uniforms - come be a part of building design identities for some of the biggest names in the action sports industry.
Productivity and the ability to set priorities is key to this position, as you will be setting up (nesting) artwork files for custom apparel and operating large format printers.
Primary Duties:
Pre-Production: Nesting pattern pieces and running large format digital printers.
Build vector-based artwork files for custom jobs. Provide design mock-ups to sales staff for approval if required.
Build any other artwork files to help support the product line.
Some photo editing and digital asset creation to support marketing.
Job Requirements:
40 Hour a Week Commitment
Very strong Adobe Illustrator experience
Adobe Photoshop
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Experience within the action sports market is a big plus, but it's not a requirement.
Casual, rural office environment in San Clemente, bike trails right across the street, the beach is a 10-minute drive. Paid holidays, flexible work schedule.
