Draftsman/Designer - Design-Build Company
We are an established (15+ years) company specializing in residential remodels and ground-up builds in Orange County, CA and beyond.
We are busy and looking for someone efficient to begin immediately with little/no training provided - must be skilled and add value to our team.
In office role at our office located in Laguna Hills, CA
Essential Functions:
Perform site visits to measure our projects.
Create Site Plans, Floor Plans and As Built Drawings.
Review proposed materials and specifications and create 3-D Renderings for designer to present during weekly client meetings.
Manage and maintain digital files and software systems to ensure all essential data is readily available for project support.
Effectively communicate with managers, (production team / crew if needed) to ensure job specifications are met.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency Required in: 3-D Renderings / Sketch UP / AutoCAD / Photoshop / Adobe Creative Suite / Microsoft Office / Google Suite.
Basic knowledge of building codes and understand technical aspects of architecture and construction.
Ability to create, read, and interpret technical drawings. Experience reading blueprints/schematics, etc.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to work well with people at various levels.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work in teams and independently, managing time effectively.
Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Team player, positive, enthusiastic and motivated self-starter.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and auto insurance.
Pay Rate is Dependent On Experience (DOE)
Initially this will be a Subcontracted (1099) position with opportunity to transform into full-time employee with paid benefits.
