Busy personal injury firm is looking for a personal injury medical lien negotiator to start immediately. If you do not know what I mean then, this is not the job for you. We require someone who is familiar with personal injury cases and the lien reduction process.
Prior experience in reducing medical liens is required.
This job is remote but requires patience, good communication skills, self-starting, following up, and most importantly, precise mathematical calculations. The job required basic math, use of excel and tenacity. You have to be extremely detailed oriented when it comes to making calculations as every cent counts.
You will be responsible for communicating with clients, attorneys in the firm, and medical lien holders throughout the process, being available by phone and email for questions and negotiations. You will be responsible for reducing medical liens using basic math after negotiating the liens with the medical providers, keeping clients updated with their case and advising attorneys when the case is ready to be paid out.
You can control your own schedule but must be available to respond to emails and calls promptly.
We have a system in place for our lien reductions so training on our system will be provided but you should have a general understanding of the process before you start.
