Receptionist –2+ years’ experience

Call & Jensen, an Orange County law firm established in 1981, seeks an experienced, knowledgeable Receptionist to work in person at our beautiful and modern Newport Beach office. Our Firm services some of the country’s largest and most recognizable corporations, as well as younger and up-and-coming companies.

We seek staff who truly enjoy being of service to coworkers and clients and derive great personal and professional satisfaction from our Firm’s success.

Responsibilities:

Open and close the office each day.

Greet internal staff and visitors with a professional, cheerful demeanor. You are the face of the firm for our guests!

Prepare for meetings, depositions, and events by setting up conference rooms, routing visitors, providing parking validations, and anticipating needs before they arise.

Process and distribute daily mail, including scanning voluminous documents to legal assistants.

Order office supplies, snacks, drinks, and kitchen supplies.

Print and make copies of documents as requested.

Create PDFs from receipts for expenses on firm credit card and enter in banking portal.

Respond to internal staff and client inquiries and requests for assistance with a helpful, courteous attitude and mindset.

Circulate weekly conference room calendar reservations.

Accept all deliveries, including FedEx, UPS, Array, etc.

Order and distribute parking validations.

Route all incoming telephone calls and voicemails.

Provide backup support to the Admin and Accounting teams when necessary.

Experience:

This position is 100% on site, with no remote availability. Candidates must bring a minimum of two years of reception experience. Associates degree is required; Bachelors degree is preferred. The ideal applicant has law firm experience, but a history at other service-oriented businesses is appreciated. Competency in Adobe and Outlook is expected, and experience with scanning documents and operating office equipment, such as copiers and mail processing machines, is a huge plus. Job Type: Full-time, 8 hours per day

Salary Range: $23-26 an hour, depending on experience

Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (with a 30-minute lunch) OR 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with a 60-minute lunch). On occasion, you will be asked to work late on special projects or during busy times, but most workdays will last 8 hours.
