law office and affiliated nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Foreclosure/Real Estate Litigation Paralegal. We handle foreclosure defense, loss mitigation, and real estate litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal to join a growing practice
Primary Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and file legal documents (complaints, motions, discovery, TRO's/PreliminartInjunctions) in foreclosure and real estate litigation cases
Conduct legal research, including statute/regulation checks and case law updates
Monitor deadlines, maintain organized case files, and manage the litigation calendar
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Prepare correspondences, motions, and pleadings for attorneys’ review
Collaborate closely with both the law firm and affiliated nonprofit on homeowner advocacy projects
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of foreclosure or real estate litigation experience (California experience preferred)
Paralegal certificate or comparable legal background
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written/verbal communication and proofreading abilities
Familiarity with e-filing systems and local court rules
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
