compensation: $18.00 - $20.00
We operate a wholesale clothing company. We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented employees to help our warehouse team. We will train on the duties needed. Applicant should be organized, responsible, computer savvy, and motivated to build and grow the business.
Requirements:
Schedule: 8 am - 4 pm Mon - Fri (We often close early and you get paid the balance of the day)
- Enthusiastic team player who is people-oriented.
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of packing and shipping on USPS and FEDEX computers)
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods
- Reliable and good attendance
- Must have time and task management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong ability to solve problems and come up with own solutions
- Accurately and efficiently fulfill daily orders
- General warehouse maintenance
- Receiving and Inspection: Unload incoming shipments, verify and inspect products for accuracy and quality, and report any discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring products are stored safely and efficiently. Assist in conducting regular inventory counts.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to our customers.
- Shipping and Logistics: Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with shipping carriers. Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards.
- General Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills (always lots do, you need to find some of it independently).
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
Plus:
Previous experience with QuickBooks Desktop
Previous experience with eBay shipping is a huge plus
Previous experience with USPS and FedEx
Prior experience with an E-commerce company
Previous experience in a warehouse/shipping + receiving department
