A rapidly growing technology company based in Laguna Niguel is seeking Production Operators for fiber optic cable assemblies and terminations. The position involves terminating fiber optic cable and producing customized fiber optic cable assemblies for their aerospace industrial and broadcast customers. The company will train on specific equipment and processes. Great opportunity to work in a company with a quality management system that is certified to the internationally recognized ISO 9001 and AS9100D standards The hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday). This is a temp-to-hire position and the starting pay is $20/hour.

Assembler Responsibilities:
Preparing the work area
Verifying materials received with the work order
Measuring, cutting, and stripping the fiber cable
Terminating the fiber to the connector with epoxy
Heating and curing the connection
Crimping, polishing (hand and/or machine)
Optical testing
Heat shrinking/labeling, and packaging
Assembler Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Read, write and speak English
Ability to read engineering drawings, work orders, and written procedures
Steady and precise hands, excellent vision, concentration, patience, and hand-eye coordination.
Previous fiber optic cable terminations and assemblies experience is desirable but not required
