Operations Manager - for Commercial Cleaning Company
Beginning salary $67,000 annually, plus truck & expenses and 401K.
POSITION TITLE:
Operations Manager – Starting Position
We are looking for a Leader.
This is a starting position with unlimited growth and compensation opportunity.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager, (fluent Spanish/English speaker) to work with the Owner, manage employees and interact with clients alike.
We are a family owned and operated Commercial Cleaning Company. We clean & maintain over 200 commercial properties throughout Southern California. We are growing rapidly. As a significant part of the management team, you have a tremendous opportunity for a long term career path.
Our services include:
Day porter, power wash, janitorial, window washing and junk hauling of retail shopping centers, industrial, apartment properties and auto dealerships.
We employ over 100 people as W-2 employees and sub-contractors.
We do business all over Southern California, from Los Angeles, south to San Diego and east to Palm Springs.
COMPENSATION:
a. This is a salaried position initially starting at $67,000 annually.
b. Raises will be commensurate with performance.
c. We will provide you a company truck or will reimburse $.68 per mile driven
d. Participation in 401K.
e. Vacation pay:
- One week paid vacation after one year of employment.
- Two weeks paid vacation after two years of employment.
HOURS:
a. 40 hours per week minimum.
b. Expected work days Monday – Friday.
c. As a salary employee, may work over 40 hours or on Saturdays and Sundays.
d. If extra hours become frequent or consistent, you will be compensated for the extra time accordingly.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Keep the Clients happy with clean properties.
b. Work with and monitor the performance of employees.
c. Work with or communicate with clients.
d. Inspect properties for cleanliness.
e. Help establish or modify cleaning schedules and routines.
f. Suggest improvements to cleaning services and/or efficiencies.
g. Help interview, hire and train cleaning staff.
h. Work with the owners in the overall management of the company.
i. Work with the Company’s bookkeeper as needed for payroll.
j. Help settle employee issues.
k. From time to time assist in actual cleaning as necessary.
