We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation:
Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and other equipment.
Program CNC machines or load pre-existing programs as necessary.
Select and install appropriate tools and fixtures based on blueprints or job specifications.
Quality Control:
Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring compliance with specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machines to maintain optimal performance.
Maintenance and Safety:
Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on machines to prevent malfunctions.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any machine malfunctions or issues to the supervisor or maintenance team promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
Record machine operations, downtime, and maintenance activities as required.
