Lube Technician NEEDED

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our team in Stanton. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the longevity and performance of our fleet and equipment by performing routine maintenance and lubrication services. The ideal candidate will start with hands-on tasks and eventually transition into a leadership role within our organization.

Start Times: Flexible between 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Pay Rate:$19.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.Rotating weekends as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication of moving parts, and inspection of fluid levels.

Safety Inspections: Perform safety checks on all vehicles and equipment, identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively.

Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of lubricants, oils, and other supplies. Place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock is maintained.

Equipment Operation: Utilize and maintain various tools and equipment necessary for the job, ensuring they are in safe and operational condition.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers and team members, providing updates on maintenance status and any issues identified.

Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.

Leadership Development: Take on additional responsibilities and leadership tasks as directed by the supervisor, preparing for a future leadership role within the team.

Assist with Other Duties: Support other maintenance and repair tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in automotive maintenance or a related field is required.

Strong attention to detail.

Basic mechanical skills and knowledge.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with basic computer applications and record-keeping.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment.

Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
