Lead Driver/ Driver Team Delivery Scheduler Wanted (with Leadership and superior communication skills, Driver scheduling experience, and Warehouse/Handyman experience). Must work well under pressure, be flexible, and be organized.

Looking for someone that cares about their job and takes pride in what they do. Team-oriented and a good multi-tasker.

Materials we deliver are bulky and can be heavy. Commercial Doors/Frames/Hardware.

Position available immediately. Salaried position.

LEAD DRIVER/ Whole TEAM SCHEDULER (will be working with Project Managers and field drivers to daily schedule a team of Drivers to job sites for deliveries of Doors/Frames/Hardware. Also will assist in delivering to Los Angeles and Orange County - So Cal general area) using company truck.

We're looking for a motivated, energetic, excellent communicator that has experience working with a driver team (involved in driver scheduling) and can also work as the Lead Driver as needed, can help process heavy load shipments (with appropriate equipment), knows how to strap down stake-beds, can handle truck loading, is a quick learner, and has an excellent work ethic. The best candidate will have a knack for being solution-oriented and demonstrating personal initiative. Experience with carpentry and wood finishing would be helpful, but not required. Shop and general handyman talents would be very beneficial. We are a non-union commercial wood door company (since 1997), processing a high volume of beautiful high end architectural commercial and residential wood doors/frames/hardware. Our shop utilizes carpentry tools, a router, chop saw, spray gun, drills, basic tools, tape measure, computer, forklift, dollies, lift-gates. ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS ARE A MUST. ABILITY TO WORK WELL WITH OTHERS IS REQUIRED.

This is a salaried position. Payroll is processed weekly.

Full-timeResponsibilities:

- Oversee a team of Drivers and manage Driver scheduling and deliveries of Doors, Frames, and Hardware to jobsites.

- Work as the liason between Project Managers and Drivers in corrdinating material deliveries.

- As a Driver Lead, participates in deliveries and works also as a Driver as needed.

- Safely and efficiently operates two types of vehicles - stake-bed trucks and standard trucks.

- Oversees the maintenance and maintenance scheduling of company vehicles.

- Load and unload materials and products using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, dollies, lift gates, etc. Process Shipping/Recieving paperwork.

- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the timely and accurate organization of products; and the loading/unloading and delivery of doors,frames, and door hardware to local job sites.

- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating equipment.

- Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure proper functioning of vehicles and proper functioning of warehouse equipment/tools.

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the vehicles and delivery areas.

Skills/Requirements:

- Has maintained a valid driver's license for the past 7+ years.

- Experience driving stake-bed or box trucks preferred.

- Ability to load and unload heavy, bulky materials and pallets using proper lifting techniques or equipment.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and field customers and employees effectively.

- Familiarity with flatbed operations and securing loads.

- Experience operating forklifts is desirable (forklift certified).

- Leadership and organizational skills a big plus in consideration process
