We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping raw materials, finished goods, and other warehouse items. The ideal candidate will operate industrial equipment and ensure an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document all receiving, shipping, stocking, packing, and repacking functions
Operate an industrial truck to move products to and from client trucks in a safe, timely manner
Organize and prepare ingredients and packing materials for production
Manage inventory according to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) to maintain safety and efficiency
Conduct periodic warehouse and freezer inventory checks
Ensure food safety, quality, and employee safety protocols are followed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including warehouse, freezer, and cooler areas
Report accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors
Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Forklift Certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
Ability to operate heavy equipment and stand for extended periods
Excellent vision or use of prescribed lenses
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Conversational English skills required
Must be able to work in cold environments (freezer temperatures as low as -30°F)
Employment Type: Full-time, Non-exempt
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM – 6:30AM – 3:00PM
Overtime / Weekend Work: As needed
Temp Period: 3 months
Hourly Wage: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr
