Sun Pac Storage Containers, Inc., a leader in the storage container industry has an immediate opening for a General Laborer / Yard Maintenance position.
We are looking for a long term, dependable team member for a full time position, 5 days per week (Tuesday - Friday), 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturdays, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm.
The position is located at our production facility and all work is performed in an outdoor environment with various weather conditions.
Role & Responsibilities:
-Wash company trucks and equipment to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
-Assist in organizing and cleaning yard and production areas.
-Perform sweeping and minor landscape work to keep the premises tidy and presentable.
-Support the production team with various tasks as needed, including repair and maintenance of storage/shipping containers.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
-Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
-Capability of lifting and carrying 50-70 pounds.
-Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including but not limited to standing for long periods of time, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders, lifting hands above head and other similar physical abilities necessary to complete various necessary labor tasks.
-Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including sun, heat, rain, wind and cold.
-Bilingual English/Spanish desirable, but not required.
-Reliable and punctual attendance.
