We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Construction Laborer to join our growing team.
Job Description:
As a General Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks on construction sites, assisting with manual labor and supporting skilled tradespeople in completing projects. This is a position that requires strength, stamina, and most of all, the ability to follow instructions safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Carry out basic construction tasks such as digging, hauling, lifting, and handling materials
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions or practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or manual labor preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a work truck
