Community Connect SoCal Inc is a community-based behavior management day program

serving developmentally handi-capable adults.

Location: Multiple locations in Los Angeles and Orange County

Experience: NOT required. You will be thoroughly trained and with a team at all times

 Interventionist/Program Specialist (1:1 ratio/1:1 ratio) Work with one to three clients

Wage: $20.03/hour average (includes tax-free mileage)

Hours: 6 hours/day (full time) M-F Approximately 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

(ideal for students, second income or work while kids are in school!)

Job Description: Assist Clients in Achieving Vocational, Social, and Community Goals

Physical: Perform tasks alongside clients at all times. Supervise clients during their

employment: delivering ads door to door 1-2x/week and collecting recyclables from various

offices and retrieve funds from recycling centers. Stay near clients throughout the day within the

community. May entail standing for more than an hour at a time.

Environment: Program includes various daily trips to job sites, neighborhoods, stores, libraries,

parks, offices, etc.

Supervision: Model and assist clients with appropriate behaviors – how to interact verbally and

physically within the community and at job sites. Must be physically close at all times.

Ensure clients present as normal a profile as possible within the community. Act as advocate for

clients’ safety and well-being.

Requirements:

Reliable car with ability to transport one to three clients.

Valid Driver’s License, Valid Car Insurance

CPR/First Aid Certification (will be reimbursed for training if not already certified)
