We are seeking a Physical Therapy Consultant to join our team of professionals at an adult day healthcare center. Our program participants are predominantly those with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophies and developmental disabilities. The PT Consultant will design individualized maintenance program services and if needed, skilled program services. Maintenance PT services will be delivered by the nursing aides under the supervision of the registered nurse.
You will have an excellent opportunity to be part of the continuing education team, as you provide training for the LVN's and nurse's aides, as well as serve a role as a health care educator for families and care-givers, as it pertains to physical therapy.
Expected hours: 10- 16 hours per week
