The Heavenly Home is affiliated with the nonprofit Southern California Hospice Foundation. The Heavenly Home is the first and only 6 bed residential care facility for the elderly in Orange County dedicated exclusively to serving terminally ill patients. Our residents include hospice patients whose loved ones cannot provide round-the-clock care or who would like to spend their final journey in a beautiful home-like setting surrounded by an experienced care team.
We provide 24-hour caregiving and support our residents in collaboration with our medical hospice partners. Our goal is to address all physical, spiritual, and emotional needs as lives are completed with comfort and dignity.
We are seeking a part time caregiver to join our incredible team on the weekends and evenings!
Job Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Clear Background Check
- Current first aid certification
- Health screening, TB test/Chest X-Ray
- Ability to identify and respond to the needs of patients
- Ability to lift 20 pounds (unassisted)
- Ability to push 40 pounds (unassisted)
