Private boutique optometry office located in Huntington Beach looking for a passionate and caring person to help provide exceptional eye care and experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide patients with an exceptional customer service experience from pre-testing, to sales, to glasses dispensing. Experience in the ophthalmology or optometry field is recommended, sales experience and ABO certification is a plus, but willing to train the motivated applicant.
Responsibilities: 1. Bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and good energy to work. 2. Assist optometrist with pre-testing patients.
3. Answer phones and schedule appointments. 4. Assist patients with selecting fashionable eyewear and lenses that fit each of their individual needs. 5. Verify insurance benefits and bill patients for services.
Who we are looking for: a great communicator, a warm personality, dedication to giving quality patient care, familiarity with insurance and vision plans, sales or optical experience. Availability to work Monday thru Thursday and half-day Saturday mornings.
We schedule only 2 patients per hour, so we want to provide the best experience possible, more akin to getting a nice coffee at a Starbucks, and engaging with our patients, rather than just herding them thru the doors as fast as possible.
