We are a fairly large optometric practice in beautiful Huntington Beach. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of care and service to our patients. Our office culture is pretty laid back and relaxed, but we're also very focused. We love technology. We take a very team oriented approach to providing patient care, so you must be a good team player. We like to laugh and have fun with our patients and each other. We enjoy giving each other a hard time, so hopefully you don't get offended too easily!
We need detail oriented and reliable team members. Don't apply if you are not do not enjoy talking to people! You must have a friendly, upbeat attitude and professional demeanor.
We are looking for someone with at least 1-2 years of experience working in optometry or ophthalmology.
The pay range for this position starts at $17/hour, but is negotiable and will also depend on previous experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-testing patients and entering patient data into OfficeMate and ExamWriter
- charting/scribing for the doctor in the exam room
- Scheduling appointments
- Dispensing eyewear, glasses adjustments and repairs
- Contact Lens training
- Knowledge of insurance (VSP, EyeMed)
