Seeking an Optician/Optometric Assistant to join our Doctor owned private practice in Laguna Niguel
Requirements:
-Should have some experience in an Eyecare provider’s office and have knowledge and experience in obtaining insurance
authorizations and billing insurance claims (VSP, EyeMed, Medicare).
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be friendly and compassionate.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls to the office, booking and scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility for patients,
- Pre-testing with Auto-refractor, Visual fields, Retinal camera.
- Spectacle ordering and dispensing.
- Contact lens training, ordering, and dispensing.
Office hours are:
Monday thru Friday, 9:00-5:00.
Office closes for lunch from 1:00-2:00.
Occasional Saturday office hours by special appointment.
Full time is preferred, but will consider a part-time candidate as well.
Full time employees eligible for PTO and retirement plan.
