Shift:
Monday to Friday Morning : 7:30am to 9:30am
Monday to Friday Afternoon: 3:00pm to 6:00pm
(Alternating Fridays off)
Patient: 54-year old disabled woman, MR/CP. Great personality, funny and kind! Non Verbal, Non Ambulatory
Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years, or more, caregiving, CNA a plus but not mandatory.
Transportation: Must have valid drivers license.
Pay: Depends upon your experience.
Languages: English
Basic Job Requirements:
1. Administer Medications at Breakfast
2. Housekeeping - Dishes, Laundry, Bed Linen, Housekeeping.
4. Transferring - From Wheelchair to the toilet, to and from armchair.
5. Toileting - Assist with using the toilet. She is on a schedule and uses adult diapers overnight
6. Morning Routine - Bathing, Dressing, Oral Hygiene, Breakfast and Ready for Bus
7. Afternoon Routine - Receive off Bus, Toilet, Snack and Set up in her Room to watch a movie
7. Companionship - Caregiver will be with patient for mental stimulation and support
8. Female Caregivers Only
Qualifications:
5-8 yrs. Good communication and proficient understanding of English.
Registered with IHSS a plus but not required
CNA certificate a plus but not required.
Must provide two references for last two job assignments
Professional appearance and demeanor, on time and reliable is a must.
