Cardiology Practice located in Irvine, has an opening for an experienced Medical Assistant.
Job Responsibilities include the following:
Rooming patients
Recording patients vitals
Performing EKG's
Prior Authorizations for medications
Prescription refills
Patient phone calls - emergency and non-emergent calls
Traveling required to our other Orange County offices when necessary
Qualifications:
2+ years medical office experience required
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records. Use of E-clinical works software a plus.
Prior customer service experience a plus
Familiar with copy machine, fax machine and scanner
Previous experience in a Cardiology group a plus
MUST have a friendly, pleasant and cooperative attitude towards patients and co-workers
