About Us:

Wigz sandwich shop is looking for a store manager. We are a small sandwich shop located on coast highway in Laguna Beach that serves our local community as well as beachgoers and hotel guests in the area. We focus on high quality sandwiches and a great atmosphere for our guests.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sandwich Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our sandwich shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, strong leadership skills, and experience in the food and beverage industry. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety, optimizing sales & labor, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise staff to provide excellent customer service.

Create staff schedules and manage shifts to ensure adequate coverage.

Foster a positive working environment and encourage teamwork.

Customer Service:

Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.

Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Interact with customers to enhance their dining experience.

Operations Management:

Oversee daily operations including food preparation, inventory management, and cash handling.

Monitor and maintain food quality and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.

Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.

Financial Management:

Manage budgets and control costs to maximize profitability.

Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.

Track inventory levels and place orders as needed to minimize waste.

Marketing and Promotion:

Collaborate on marketing initiatives to promote new menu items and specials.

Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in restaurant or food service management.

Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
