Insomniac’s Clubs Division is focused on creating a best-in-class experience for our Headliners. Our expanding roster of club partners includes some of the world's top venues, delivering performances from globally renowned DJs backed by top-notch sound and visuals. The diverse calendar of events celebrates the electronic dance music community and culture, offering an endless range of experiences.

Insomniac Clubs is a separate entity from Insomniac Events, focused on curating and managing unique nightlife experiences. While we share a passion for music and creating unforgettable experiences, Insomniac Clubs operates independently from Insomniac Events and has its own payroll, benefits and organizational structure.

THE ROLE

Porter’s main responsibility is maintaining the cleanliness of the venue. Upon arrival, Porters are responsible for setting up the outside crowd rails, stanchions, and box office counter. Porters are required to wear a headset and radio in order for us to communicate. They are to listen to the radio and be aware of when a Porter is called to an area of the venue for cleanup as well as respond on the radio so we know someone is on their way. Porters will be assigned a section each night and be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of that section for the duration of their shift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Setting up crowd rails outside main doors

· Setting up stanchions outside main doors

· Setting up heaters outside main doors

· Setting up lobby: Box office counter, security desk and stanchions

· Setting up photobooth

· Turning on AC units and jets for the venue

· Maintaining cleanliness of venue during operations

· Picking up glassware left on floors, staircases and bar tops

· Picking up trash throughout venue

· Returning dirty glassware to dishwasher's station

· Constantly walking around the venue and cleaning up

· Being responsible for radio and headset

· Checking in with fellow porters for instructions

· Cleaning up bio spills using proper tools (specific broom, dustpans and procedure)

· Cleaning up General Admission line (sweeping up trash)

· Polishing stanchions at the beginning of each shift (weekly).

· Support onboarding and training new team members

· In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the employee may be assigned other duties or tasks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)

· Ability to work Nigh Shift, Evening Shift & Weekends as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments when at venues

· May work in drastic temperature climates when at venues

· Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required

Hourly Pay Range: $16.50 USD + Tips
