Italian Pizzeria in business for over 39 years seeking a part time dishwasher/utility that has a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and is clean and organized.
This is a hybrid position, though the primary function will be to keep the dish station clean and organized. The utility will be cross trained to assist servers and cooks to ensure that the restaurant works smoothly during the rush. Utility positions will be taught to prep, make salads, bus tables, assemble food.
One year of experience is preferred.
Certifications:
- Food Handler Certified
Responsibilities
- Keeping dish station and all of its surrounding areas organized, clean and sanitized
- Works with a sense of urgency
- Willingness to take on prepping and line working duties
- Cross trained to assist servers with salad making, bussing tables and restocking.
- Cross training to assist kitchen line assembling orders, backing up line, and preparing food
- Other responsibilities and tasks as deemed appropriate by the management team.
Qualifications/Abilities:
- Has a general understanding of cooking procedures
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in all kitchen locations on any given day
- Show ability to work as a team player
Hours:
- Part-time, 14-21 hours per week. Dinner shifts.
