JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and personable Cocktail Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for creating a unique and engaging atmosphere for our guests. As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving drinks, and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Provide detailed knowledge of our cocktail menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Take drink orders and serve cocktails promptly and accurately.
- Offer recommendations based on guest preferences and menu knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar and seating areas.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of specialty cocktails and seasonal drink offerings.
- Uphold the speakeasy’s ambiance by adhering to dress code and decorum.
- Collaborate with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operation and exceptional service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cocktail server or in a similar role within a high-end bar or speakeasy.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
