About Little Billy’s:

Little Billy’s is an upscale counter-serve take on the modern day diner, focused on breakfast and lunch specializing in wholesale but indulgent brunch items with signature griddle and pastry selections. Little Billy’s expects to show Newport Beach they are best in class in the breakfast, brunch and lunch category.

Billy’s Cafe has a mission to create extraordinary experiences and a sense of community for our guests while positively contributing to the social and economic fabric of the community.

We are searching now for the following General Manager, who share the same intentions in hospitality, who want to be empowered and grow professionally while having fun in the process!

General Manager:

Our General Manager will oversee the daily operations of our high-paced cafe in Newport Beach. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining quality standards, and driving business growth.

The General Manager must have experience overseeing both the Front of House and Back of House employees and operations.

Qualifications:

1-3 years experience as a General Manager in a fast-paced restaurant or cafe

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service

Solid understanding of financial management principles

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Competent overseeing the kitchen department and familiar with Health Department risks and hazards

Competent managing motivating both front of the house AND back of the house employees as the primary communication between the two

Preferred:

Food Handler’s Card

Serve Safe Manager Certified

Tips Certification

Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
