Dana Point Yacht Club is looking for experienced Line Cooks & Banquet Cooks who thrive on creating delicious and creative food with a fun and energetic culinary team. Our restaurant produces high-quality California Coastal Cuisine, and every day is different at this fast-paced restaurant and highly sought after event space. A successful candidate will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment while working well in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals to customers in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare food items and assemble them on plates or in containers, using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment, following recipes or order entries.
Prepare ingredients or assemble and cook food items such as vegetables, meats, or seafood according to recipes and service orders.
Operate hot kitchen equipment including grills and deep fryers.
Compose hot meals; heat and season foods according to recipe instructions; arrange on pre-set menu plates, platters, or trays; garnish with fresh herbs, spices, or sauces per customer request.
Perform all kitchen duties other than cooking the food items.
Food Safety Knowledge.
Cleaning & Proper Sanitation.
