Line cook and Server for farm to table restaurant

We are a small family owned establishment, looking for the right kind of persons to join our team in the positions of SERVER and LINE COOK at Heirloom a Modern Farmhouse in Huntington Beach. We are seeking talented, service minded individuals who have at least two years of experience in a fine dining environment, are willing to learn and develop, and are well-groomed, reliable, a good communicator who is punctual, hard working and committed to absolute guest satisfaction.

FOH Server:

-Prior experience in an upscale, but casual restaurant preferred. Wine knowledge is a plus.

-Strong sense of team dynamic, adaptable, desire to grow and be a part of a great team.

-Weekend availability required (Closed Sundays, Mondays and major holidays).

-Currently open Tuesday through Saturday evenings, but hours will expand.

- Drama free is must.

- A team player that wears many hats during shift.

BOH Line Cook:

Open kitchen where guests can interact with cooks. Note that this role requires working in shifts during evenings and weekends (closed Sundays, Mondays and major holidays). Ultimately, you’ll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our customers. Food Handler's certification required.

Skills:

-Work experience as a Line Cook in a busy environment, sauté experience is a MUST.

-Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.

-Time management skills.

- Maintains solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.

- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.

- Effectively communicates with management and service staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/or other employees.

- Follows all safety policies, procedures, and best practices at all times.

- Knowledge of state and local health codes (Food Handlers Card required) to maintain restaurant compliance.

- Maintains proper kitchen culture and professional environment.

- Drama free
