Our Line Cooks are passionate about food and collaborate with our kitchen team to deliver great food to our guests every time they visit. They must work well within a team, thrive in a busy environment, while constantly striving to make every guest feel at home.
Responsibilities:
Display working knowledge of all ingredients and preparation used on the menu
Follow company recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
Maintain a fully stocked station throughout each shift and ensure that all food meets company standards
Consistently ensure station is clean and organized
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and embody an environment of teamwork
Demonstrate an eagerness to refine skills and desire to learn and grow
Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude
Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers
Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses

1+ year in a line cook position at a casual dining restaurant or similar experience
Basic food, kitchen equipment and prepping knowledge
Must be able to read tickets on screen
Food handlers certification
Work Authorization: United States Citizen or Undocumented Noncitizen authorized to work in the United States
Work Context:
Working with hot foods and beverages
Walking and standing for long periods of time
Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment
The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch for duration of shift (eight hours or longer)
The employee must frequently lift and/or move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance
