We are immediately hiring for a General Manager of an iconic, newly renovated establishment opening soon! We relate our success directly to the strength of our management team. To continue operating at our highest standards, we’re seeking a general manager who’s a born leader, ready to lead the pre-opening team. This person should have experience in overseeing business operations (pre and post opening) as well as human resources, finance, and communications. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, the general manager should be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximum productivity and efficiency.

Develop strategic plan for optimized productivity pre-opening + ongoing
Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties include; although are not limited to:
Driving product and service culture by circulating on the floor, continually checking with guests and service staff to ensure satisfaction
Aiding in the training, supervising, scheduling, evaluating, and directing of all restaurant associates
Handling guest concerns in a prompt and professional manner
Monitoring and supervising the set up and maintenance of the bar to ensure that it is meeting or exceeding standards
Organizing, building, and maintaining a professional work environment
Recruiting and training all associates, ensuring staff continually improves their performance
Managing overall profit and loss statements
Organizing and conducting pre-shift departmental meetings and communicating pertinent information to Associates
Ensuring par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering, and retrieving supplies and stocking shelves
Ensuring the department abides by all safety and sanitation policies
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of four (4) years’ of previous Food and Beverage leadership experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures, and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer
Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages required
Must possess basic computer skills
Budgetary analysis capabilities required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires walking and standing most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6-10 hours. Must be able to lift up to 25-40 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
The pay scale for Restaurant Manager $100,000-$150,000.
The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities.
