Dennis Bedell Contracting is a licensed company established in 1974, specializing in concrete site work, flat work, and masonry in residential, commercial and governmental projects. Dennis Bedell Contracting is looking for an experienced, organized, energetic and detailed oriented Construction Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
-Obtain bids from subcontractors based on project needs, budget, and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
-Take charge of scheduling, managing, and resolving delays, emergencies, and any other issues that may arise during construction.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements to maintain project integrity and safety standards.
-Create project budget and provide regular project progress updates and budget reports.
-Execute contracts and terms with subcontractors and third-party consultants.
-Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and work timetables.
-Manage and update project schedules, overseeing multiple development, commercial and residential projects simultaneously.
Required Skills:
-Exceptional communication with the team and third parties’ consultants.
-Ability to read and understand plans and means and methods of building.
-Strong leadership abilities to delegate tasks and manage teams effectively.
-Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
-Proficient time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
-Writing proficiency for crafting proposals, budget plans, and project documentation.
-Technical expertise in interpreting construction methods, contracts, and drawings.
