Job Summary:
We need a freelance Structural Engineer to visit sites and draft plans for elevator installations, focusing on creating openings from the ground to the second floor. Quick turnaround is essential, with the company handling all permitting.
Responsibilities:
Travel to project sites across the specified regions for on-site assessments.
Draft detailed CAD drawings for creating code-compliant elevator openings.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to confirm design specifications.
Deliver renderings promptly; revise as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Experience with residential construction.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:
1099 freelance position. Compensation to be discussed at interview.
Payment: 50% upon delivery of renderings, 50% upon permit issuance.
