Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teachers to join our team for the upcoming summer session. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide academic support and enrichment to elementary students during their summer break. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment while helping students build essential skills and confidence.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement daily lessons and activities that align with the curriculum and educational goals.
Assess students' academic needs and develop individualized instruction plans as necessary.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to coordinate and integrate curriculum activities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching certification/license preferred.
Experience teaching elementary-aged students in a classroom setting.
Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and instructional best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Schedule:
This is a part time seasonal position, running from June 17 to July 25. Summer school hours are typically Monday through Thursday, 8:30am-12:30pm.
