Growing national distributor is seeking an experienced Controller with the ability to assume VP Finance role and manage a department of up to 12 directing month-end close, financial reporting and analysis, cash management, inventory management, internal controls, budgeting & forecasting, strategic planning, compliance, and mentoring/developing staff.
Bachelor’s in Accounting and CPA preferred. Minimum of 7 – 10 years’ progressive experience with at least 5 years as a Controller. Significant experience in inventory management, cost accounting, and ERP systems (Accumatica a plus) in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong GAAP, Excel, communication, presentation, analytical, process improvement, and multi-tasking skills. Takes a strategic approach in all their responsibilities. Operates at a high level of integrity and professionalism.
