Urban Planner - Federal Planning

Together, we support agencies in achieving their objectives and serving the public interest, ensuring a sustainable and inclusive future for all.Job Overview:As an Urban Planner on our Federal team at AECOM, you will be a key team member supporting the planning and developing projects for various federal agencies. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of urban planning within the context of federal projects, while also contributing to the successful delivery of planning solutions that meet client needs, regulations, and best practices to ensure that projects align with federal guidelines and objectives.This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Assist planning teams on multi-disciplinary master planning projects for military installations world-wideConduct research, gather and analyze planning-related dataContribute to the authorship of planning reportsSupport project teams in data collection, data analysis, preparation of plans and maps, report production, and workshop/meeting documentationSupport planning workshop facilitationProduce maps and exhibits using GIS
