Description Are you a skilled Public Relations professional with a passion for making a difference in communities? Our client, an impactful nonprofit organization focused on improving communities through resource centers, youth programs, and strong partnerships, is seeking a PR Specialist to contribute to their mission. This is a fully remote, part-time, project-based position requiring 10-15 hours per week.Key Responsibilities
Strategic PR: Develop and execute innovative PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and ROI.
Media Relations: Draft press releases, connect with media outlets, and cultivate relationships to promote the organization.
Digital Content Creation: Write blogs and LinkedIn newsletters consistent with the nonprofit’s voice and mission.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with corporate sponsors and volunteers to amplify the community impact.
Mission Advocacy: Drive awareness of the nonprofit’s initiatives, focusing on uplifting underserved communities through social impact programs.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven Experience: Track record in Public Relations with a strong understanding of PR and industry trends.
Communication: Exceptional skills in writing, copy-editing, and social media management.
Digital Marketing: Proficiency in Google Ads and familiarity with broader digital marketing platforms or strategies.
Passion for Social Impact: Alignment with the nonprofit’s mission and values.
