Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Orange, California. This role involves handling accounts receivable and payroll responsibilities within the real estate and property management sector. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic finance team, managing collections and cash receipts, processing semi-monthly payroll, and transitioning to administrative duties as needed. Responsibilities: Manage collections and cash receipts to maintain accurate accounts receivable records Handle accounts receivable invoicing and assist with the increased volume due to company growth Process semi-monthly payroll for employees using specific accounting software systems Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies Address payroll-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally Transition to administrative responsibilities gradually, including assisting executives with scheduling and other administrative tasks Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for various accounting functions Perform billing functions and B2B collections as part of daily tasks Review timesheets for payroll processing and manage daily cash receipts Provide administrative assistance as required by the team. Requirements Minimum of three years experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with Accounting Functions including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions Familiarity with B2B collections and handling Daily Cash Receipts Experience preparing semi-Monthly Payrolls Ability to effectively review Timesheets Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Experience in Payroll processing and Administrative Assistance Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
