This second year of residency training will enable the Resident II to meet their educational goals and objectives defined within their specialty requirements. The Resident II will actively participate in the care of patients and assume progressively more responsibility as they advance in their training and medical knowledge. The Resident II will acquire the knowledge and special skills of their respective disciplines while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety in the delivery of patient care services. Basic Qualifications:
Applicant must have a medical or podiatric degree (MD, DO, DPM).
Must have completed an internship at an accredited residency training program before the beginning of the second year of residency training.
Must have received a letter from current program director indicating successful completion of the expected competency requirements by the end of the Resident's intern training year.
