Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time (15-20 hours/week) Director of Finance (3+ month engagement) to oversee the financial operations and ensure the fiscal health for one of our Non-Profit clients. The ideal consultant will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a passion for supporting non-profit initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to the financial sustainability and growth of our organization.Main Responsibilities:

Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop and maintain cash flow projections to ensure proper liquidity for daily operations and long-term financial planning.

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.

Budget Management: Collaborate with leadership to develop annual budgets and monitor budget performance throughout the fiscal year. Provide analysis and recommendations to ensure budgetary compliance and efficient resource allocation.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.

Managing the Controller: Provide leadership and guidance to the Controller and finance team, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, internal controls, and organizational policies.

Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Coordinate annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.

Salesforce Experience (Plus): Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus. Ability to leverage technology to streamline financial processes and improve data management.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years' experience at an executive level role

High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability

Detail-oriented and high attention to accuracy are a must

Super analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills

Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

CPA designation or MBA highly preferred

-Prior People Management Experience.

Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact effectively and clearly in a fast-changing environment
