Role: Data ScientistLocation: Oakland, CA – Day 1 OnsiteJob Description:Our client is seeking a Data Scientist, has experience in predictive analysis, data modeling and familiarity with a multitude of technologies. Should also have proven analytical skills; strong experience in writing Python code, SQL queries, designing database tables, and engaging Tableau to create forecasting reports and predictive models.Ph.D. degrees are requiredExperience & Skills:- Experience and proven track record in solving business problems through fact-based and scientific analytics.
- Comfortable in working with programming language Python.
- Sound understanding of ML techniques for NLP.
- Advanced knowledge of Transformers and underlying concepts of neural networks.
- Experienced in working with Tensorflow, PyTorch and spaCy.
- Well versed with supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
- Extensive experience developing Tableau reports.
- Clear understanding of logical and physical database design and data.
- Strong database skills (MySQL, SQL Server) and ability to write, optimize and tune complex SQL scripts.
