Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Construction SR Manager to be based in Oakland, CA.

Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate CM firm (PMs, Directors, and engineers).

Reviews objectives to determine success of operation.

Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of client/program objectives.

Implements strategic client/program policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Oversees the administration of projects during the design and construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.

Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities under individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.

Responsible for the overall management administration to projects and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

Provides management and guidance to CM firms (PMs, Directors, and engineers), enforces client and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and CM firms (PMs, Directors, and engineers) at each campus.

Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through CM firms (PMs, Directors, and engineers).

Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through design and contract closeout.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

K-14 experience preferred.

A desire to work in the field.

Ablity to perform site walks

Additional Information

This is not a remote position. Local travel required.

Relocation is not available for this position.

Must pass a motor vehicle check.

This position will work from the client site.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
