Description Established litigation firm in the San Francisco East Bay has an immediate opening for a skilled Associate Attorney! This Associate Attorney will join a growing team of attorneys and support staff, focusing on personal injury matters. As an Associate Attorney with this firm, you'll be responsible for all phases of the litigation lifecycle from pre-litigation through settlement or trial. The ideal attorney will be able to work on-site in Oakland, CA but hybrid work schedules will be considered for the right candidate. Review intake documents to develop case strategies and next steps
Draft various documents including motions, pleadings, briefs, and memos
Legal research
Discovery management
Trial and deposition preparation
Client communication as needed
Projects as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
California licensed attorney
3-10+ years of California-based civil litigation experience
Prior personal injury or insurance defense experience is highly preferred but not required
Ability to work in Oakland, CA up to 5 days/week is highly preferred but not required
Demeanor to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
