Our Client is seeking a Customer Support Engineer. This is a Level-1 Support position. This job is fully remote and can be either Direct Hire/FTE, or Contract-to-Hire (6-month contract, then conversion to FTE). Responsibilities:
- Join a talented technical team working on next-generation AI and analytics.
- Provide Level-1 support for customer-facing onsite installations, integration and user acceptance testing, production launches, and more.
- Be part of a successful product roadmap and highly involved with customer success throughout the design and testing phases.
- 4+ years of customer facing/customer support experience.
- Recent professional experience with process databases, visualization, modern technologies and tools with the ability to documents, communicate and collaborate internally and externally in a customer facing approach.
- Hands on experience with Linux/Unix, CentOS and Windows.
- Scripting/programming experience in PHP, Python, Java, Unix Shell.
- Experience with SQL Server, Postgres database technologies, database administration, tuning, and ability to detect and resolve database problems.
- Good knowledge of disaster recovery, including creating disaster recovery plans for the environment, helping to document procedures, and planning and testing recovery procedures in a remote backup environment.
- Experience with AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
