Overall Responsibility:Provide service management and support to field service staff and customers while ensuring profitability. Develop, document and implement field service policies, processes, and training programs for field service engineers.Key Areas :
Field Service Management:
Provide service management of field operations while ensuring the profitability of the service business.
Communicate with customers regarding technical and service related issues.
Actively solicit new and existing customers to increase sales revenues.
Coordinate with Customer Service Team on service issues and scheduling.
Coordinate with the Sales Team on service delivery planning to customers and potential customers and provide consultation and guidance on services and presentations to customers.
Travel to field, sales conferences and customer sites when required.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery and recording of service reports.
H/R and Employee Development:
Develop and provide guidance regarding goals, progress and annual performance reviews for each Field Service Engineer.
Work with the Technical Team on development and delivery of service programs and training programs.
Process required documentation and advice for H/R related matters.
Assist with employee placement, planning and hiring processes.
Assist in the development of company procedures and training manuals for Service employees.
Financial Responsibilities:
Review service contracts and service events and communicate with Controller to ensure timely and accurate billing of all service.
Participate in collection efforts with outstanding customer accounts.
Work with Controller to monitor and enforce Field Service adherence of travel expense reporting and policies.
Assist in bonus calculation and salary reviews for Field Service personnel.
General reporting and budget related activities.
Special Projects;
Assist with all special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong sense of team building and customer service
Leadership skills
Solid technical background in MRI and CT service
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time well
Ability to accept responsibility and to make decisions
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Minimum of 25% travel required
Good driving record
