We are looking for a Software Engineer II to be part of this dynamic and high-impact team.As a Software Engineer II – Mobile Apps , you will be asked to design and develop mobile applications that help patients manage their diabetes. Our product suite spans from medical devices that a patient wears, to mobile apps, up to our back-end servers so this is a challenging task, and one that requires critical thinking to ensure the system performs well.The best candidates will be ‘engineers’. That is, critical thinkers who solve problems efficiently, pragmatically and continually seek information from all sources. Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and unit test mobile apps, components, and tools.

Be an expert in one of the following languages: Dart, Java, Kotlin, C/C , Objective-C, Swift

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Database operations on mobile devices.

Knowledge of integrating with REST/SOAP based APIs

Read, analyze, understand requirements, and provide feedback to members of the requirements, development, and test team.

Work closely with quality and systems teams to ensure the product works properly from end-to-end, both pre and post-release.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Developsoftware designs based on software requirementsin accordance with regulatory environments.

Partner with other peers as part of sprint development.

Coordinate development activities with our vendor partners.

Work in an agile/scrum environment.

Keep abreast of technical and industry trends related to software development in mobile apps.

Participate and contribute to product code and design reviews.

Be familiar with Agile processes, Atlassian suite of tools.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

2 years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences

Or, advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

Deep understanding in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

Experience coordinating with remote teams.

Experience working in a regulated industry

Experience in cross-platform technologies such as Flutter

Strong attention to detail

Good written and oral communication skills.

Self-motivated, driven to meet objectives
