Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are opening a position for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the financial industry, situated in Newport Beach, California. The workplace is a dynamic environment that offers a long term contract employment opportunity. In this role, you will be primarily tasked with handling accounts payable, managing data entry, and producing thorough reports.Responsibilities: Accurately process a high volume of invoices Assist with backlog tasks as needed Conduct data entry tasks with precision and speed Apply coding to General Ledger and Journal Entries Prepare and submit detailed reports on a daily basis Utilize Microsoft Excel, Pivot Table, and VLOOKUP to manage and analyze data Ensure all accounts payable activities are conducted in compliance with established guidelines and procedures Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable (AP) role Proficiency in coding invoices Strong data entry skills Solid experience in invoice processing Proficient in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with pivot table usage Knowledge of VLOOKUP function in Excel Ability to prepare detailed financial reports Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
